BACHMANN the WELFARE QUEEN

http://old.news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110628/ap_on_el_ge/us_bachmann_fact_check

FACT CHECK: Bachmann bomblets raising eyebrows

Michele Bachmann's claim that she has "never gotten a penny" from a family farm that's been subsidized by the government is at odds with her financial disclosure statements. They show tens of thousands in personal income from the operation. ... From 1995 through 2010, the farm got $259,332 in federal payments.

Examining 24 of her statements, Politifact.com, the Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checking service of the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times, found just one to be fully true and 17 to be false (seven of them "pants on fire" false). No other Republican candidate whose statements have been vigorously vetted matched that record of inaccuracy.

BACHMANN the TAXMAN AXMAN

"Michelle Bachmann was a tax lawyer for the IRS and has a post-doctorate degree in Federal Tax Law. She has stated that she represented the IRS in hundreds of cases AGAINST American citizens."

http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2011/06/bachmann-considering-support-for.html

"Bachmann was a tax collection attorney for the IRS - a repo-gal. One of the big tax scoflaws Bachmann went after was Marvin Manypenny, an American Indian student who worked for a nonprofit and made less than $10,000. So much for the little guy."

http://thepoliticalcarnival.net/2011/06/15/michele-bachmann-tax-attorney-for-the-irs/

Since she worked for the IRS and AGAINST American citizens and also voted Yes to extending the Repeal the 4th Amendment Act (AKA: Patriot Act), she is not someone who I would trust occupying the White House. When push came to shove, she would be more likely to work against American citizens than on their behalf.

Pawlenty also let loose on fellow Republicans, for suggesting that budget concerns should temper America’s aggressiveness abroad.

“America already has one political party devoted to decline, retrenchment, and withdrawal," Pawlenty said. "It does not need a second one."

TG: So Paw Paw wants us to go bankrupt fighting everyone on earth. Six wars against people who were no threat to America are not enough.

Michele Bachmann betrayed tea party with PATRIOT Act vote

The chairwoman of the House Tea Party caucus promptly found her Facebook page under attack from tea partiers who couldn't believe she voted in support of a law that grants the federal government all kinds of prying access into the lives of ordinary citizens.

HUNTING HUNTSMAN

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/7945-moderate-jon-huntsmans-record-scrutinized-for-2012-bid

Huntsman has supported unconstitutional cap-and-trade schemes that would drive up the costs of energy; individual health-care mandates similar to the one under attack in ObamaCare; civil unions for gay couples; amnesty for illegal immigrants; sovereignty-destroying “trade” agreements; and many other measures opposed by rank-and-file conservatives. Another big liability for Huntsman is the fact that he served in the Obama administration.

And he's an environut.

“Rep. Paul wrote a book called ‘End the Fed.’ I believe we can fix the Fed,” Cain said. “Because when I ask the Ron Paul people, ‘what would you replace it with?’ they don’t have an answer.”

TG: I have an answer Herman - replace it with NOTHING. Let the market, the PEOPLE, control the economy. When a surgeon removes cancer, we don't ask what he's going to replace it with.

MITT BURIES HIMSELF DEEPER ON ABORTION PLEDGE

http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2011/06/18/romney-rejects-pro-life-pledge-flawed?cmpid=cmty_fb_Gigya_Romney_Rejects_Pro-life_%22Pledge%22_as_Flawed

Romney Rejects Pro-life "Pledge" as Flawed

TG: That's okay, I "reject" Mitt Romney as "flawed". His excuses are that signing this pledge would keep us from subsidizing hospitals with tax money (something that is unconstitutional itself) and it would prevent him from naming pro-abortion cabinet members to relevant positions. Why would apro-life president want to appoint a pro-aborter to a relevant position? Not only that, most of the cabinet positions he lists are also unconstitutional.

CAIN REFUSES to SIGN PRO-LIFE PLEDGE

http://www.lifenews.com/2011/06/17/2012-gop-candidates-sign-pro-life-pledge-romney-cain-refuse/

Signers of the pledge include Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum and the pro-life organization is calling on pro-life activists to put pressure on those candidates who have refused to sign, Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, and Gary Johnson. Cain has said he holds pro-life views and has repeatedly excoriated Planned Parenthood for targeting the black community with its abortion facilities.

http://www.lifenews.com/2011/03/15/herman-cain-blasts-planned-parenthood-abortion-biz-attacks-him/

TG: Is the racial aspect (which is legitimate) a bigger problem to Mr. Cain than babies being killed? Why won't he sign the pledge?

ROMNEY REFUSES to SIGN PRO-LIFE PLEDGE

http://www.lifenews.com/2011/06/17/2012-gop-candidates-sign-pro-life-pledge-romney-cain-refuse/

Johnson’s not signing is no surprise given his pro-abortion views but Romney has been campaigning as a pro-life candidate since converting to the pro-life position before the 2008 presidential election.

http://www.lifenews.com/2011/06/08/mitt-romney-reasserts-his-pro-life-position-on-abortion/

TG: Romney used to be pro-abortion, then he became supposedly pro-life just before the last election. Was his conversion sincere, or political pandering? It sure doesn't look sincere based on his refusal to sign this pledge.

CAIN CINDERELLA BULL

http://www.mrc.org/bmi/commentary/2006/More_Economic_Bull_from_Media_Bears.html

Herman Cain actually called the economy a "Cinderella story". Well, I agree that he was telling a fairy tale.

CAIN BUBBLE TROUBLE

http://www.mrc.org/bmi/commentary/2005/Commentary_The_Media_Say_the_Economy_Is_Horrible_So_It_Must_Be_True.html

Herman Cain, the KC Federal Reserve Chairman, wrote glowingly on how strong the economy was. Ron Paul said we were on the brink of the bursting of the housing bubble and the dollar was about to be seriously devalued (prices will rise). Looks like Dr. Paul was right (I own two houses - I guarantee you Dr. Paul was right and Cain was naive). Here's what Cain said:

You could write a book just on how poor the coverage has been of the alleged housing bubble. The media have been foretelling a massive bust in housing prices for months now. On May 19, ABCs Elizabeth Vargas said: The run up in housing prices is now beginning to look something like the boom in Internet stocks, and we know what happened there. That kind of ignorance makes homeowners fear that their most expensive possession could turn worthless overnight. That wont happen

ALGORE APPLAUDS ROMNEY

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0611/57038.html

Al Gore applauds Mitt Romney

Former Vice President Al Gore just posted a semi-approving, not entirely helpful note on his blog about Mitt Romney's position on global warming.

Romney's climate change views are different from some other Republicans' in that he believes climate change is happening and that humans may bear some responsibility for it. That's Jon Huntsman's position, too.

CAIN WANTS FEDGOV FOOD CONTROL

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1106/13/se.02.html

CAIN: The federal government should be doing food safety, yes.

TG: He's still a big-gov't shill. The gov't allows all the chemicals in our food. The gov't puts rat poison in our water supply. The gov't won't let us drink raw milk and doesn't want us to grow our own fruits and vegetables. The gov't allowed fish from China raised in raw sewage. But Cain thinks they should be in charge of our food safety. You'd think he'd know better, being a pizza godfather. Maybe he was a gov't favored industry and liked Big Brother's protection.

CAIN COMPROMISES on GUN RIGHTS?

... your answers to Wolf Blitzer’s questions on gun control (see sidebar video player at 3:04 mark) have raised concerns among right to keep and bear arms advocates.

Specifically, you affirmed your belief that “states or local government [should] be allowed to control guns.” That's the same "home rule" position advocated by the Brady Campaign.

Mitt Dodges 'Is Homosexuality a Sin' Question

http://www.christianpost.com/news/mitt-romney-dodges-is-homosexuality-a-sin-question-50947/

Mitt Romney Dodges 'Is Homosexuality a Sin' Question

Mitt Romney refused to answer a question on whether homosexuality is a sin while on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight.

"Do you personally think homosexuality is a sin?" Morgan asked, well aware of Romney's Mormon faith.

"Nice try," Romney answered. "It's a valid question and my answer is nice try."

TG: All you morons who use the DADT vote as your excuse to avoid Ron Paul, what are you gonna do now? Mitt won't answer (though he governed the ONLY state to legalize queer marriage). Cain is courting the queers. Palin approved them.

Bachmann Campaign Manager Rollins Goes After Palin

The alliance between likely Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and possible candidate Sarah Palin appears to be fraying. And it's being fueled largely by Bachmann's new campaign manager, Ed Rollins. “Sarah has not been serious over the last couple of years,” he said in an interview on Fox News Radio. “She got the vice-presidential thing handed to her. She didn’t go to work in the sense of trying to gain more substance. She gave up her governorship.”

CAIN COURTS QUEERS for CABINET

Herman Cain in Iowa: I’d hire an openly gay staffer

The retired Georgia businessman wove several references to God into his speech, saying that laws come from God and that “the biblical purpose for government is to punish evil and encourage good.

When a blogger asked Cain after the speech, hosted by the Family Leader, a conservative advocacy group, whether he’d be opposed to appointing someone who is gay but qualified for a White House position, Cain had an immediate and breezy answer. “Nope, not at all. I wouldn’t have a problem with that at all,”

Bachmann screwed up her account of the "shot heard around the world" (story below) and now Palin outdoes her by BADLY mangling the account of the ride of Paul Revere.

CAIN THE ECONOMY DRAIN

http://www.economicfreedomcoalition.com/news/press-opinion-090108.asp

Just like EVERY GOP candidate in 2008 (except ONE), Herman Cain insisted the economy was chugging along. Only ONE, that wet-blanket known as "Dr. No", kept insisting the housing bubble was about the burst and the dollar was about to dump.

And this Cain fellow was the Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve bank?
