PERRY SIGNED "HATE CRIME" BILL

http://thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/8804-rick-perry-signed-hate-crimes-bill-in-texas

Rick Perry Signed Hate Crimes Bill in Texas

President Obama signed a similar law, and the Texas statute signed by Perry does effectively establish a special “protected class” status ... all crime should be punished equally, regard[less] of the race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. of the victim. In other words, under hate-crimes law, if someone beats up a white person and then beats up a gay person, they receive a heavier sentence for the latter crime. This makes a travesty of the concept of equal application of the law and is likely unconstitutional.

Here is what Ron Paul has said about "hate crime" legislation:

"Hate crime laws have been used to silence free speech and even the free exercise of religion. For example, a Pennsylvania hate crime law has been used to prosecute peaceful religious demonstrators on the grounds that their public Bible readings could incite violence."

"Because federal hate crime laws criminalize thoughts, they are incompatible with a free society."

BE VERY WARY OF PERRY

http://www.ronpaulwasright.net/Liberal-Rick-Perry.html

Send this to anyone you know who supports "Porn King" Perry.

CONSERVATIVES SHOULD BE WARY OF "SLICK RICK" PERRY!

Perry never was all that bright. His college transcripts are full of C's and D's.

Born into a Democrat Family, Perry supported Carter over Reagan in 1980.

In 84, the pretty cheerleader was elected as a Democrat State Legislator. In 87 he voted for a $5.7 billion tax hike!

In 1988, Perry was Texas campaign manager for Al Gore's presidential run. Perry then backed super liberal Michael Dukakis in the General Election.

When it became obvious that being a Democrat in Texas was a career killer, the opportunistic and ambitious Perry switched to the Republican Party in 1990. The liberal Democrat college cheerleader cleverly transformed his image into a tough talking, gun slinging Texas cowboy.

In 1993, Governor Perry praised Hillary Clinton's socialized health care scheme,describing it as "most commendable."

Perry spoke before the radical left wing NCLR. La Raza ("The Race") promotes open borders and welfare for illegals. Perry told La Raza that he opposes border fences and is against Arizona's anti-illegal immigration law.

Perry cooperated with the radical Marxist group, ACORN the same red-shirt group that spawned "community organizer" Barack Obama. ACORN was under investigation for vote fraud in several states until Obama came to their rescue.

In 2007, Perry signed an Executive Order mandating that every 6th grade girl submit to a 3-jab regimen of a vaccine for sexually transmitted diseases (Gardasil). Parents were outraged! The drug was developed by Merck, a contributor to Perry! The tyrannical mandate was repealed by the Texas legislature, over Perry's objections!

In 2008, Perry wrote letters to Congress in support of the criminal Wall Street banker bailout. By doing so, Perry ignored the wishes of the American people and aligned himself with Billionaire liberals like George Soros and Warren Buffet.

Perry is still a Big Gov't liberal! In 10 years as Governor, Perry has nearly doubled the size of Texas's budget!

Slick Rick shamelessly wears his false Christianity "on his sleeve". HIS FAKE CHRISTIANITY IS AS INSINCERE AS HIS FAKE CONSERVATISM!

Rick Perry: On the Tea Party Express Without a Ticket?

http://faithnprinciple.blogspot.com/2011/08/rick-perry-on-tea-party-express-without.html

Rick Perry: On the Tea Party Express Without a Ticket?

Background on Rick Perry
1. ’84, ’86 and ’88 Democratic member of TX House
3. ’01 Signed the nation’s first law giving tuition to illegal immigrants
4. ’01 Supported the Patriot Act
5. ’01 Stopped “pay as you go” for Texas road construction and started taking on debt
6. ’02 Supporter of Federal Education (unconstitutional)
7. ’06 Settles lawsuit for taking 1M in illegal campaign contributions
8. ’06 Endorsed NAFTA Superhighway (Eminent Domain & National Sovereignty)
9. ‘07 Signs law mandating Gardasil vaccine to 11 & 12 year old girls (12,424 injuries as of 12/31/08)
10. ’07 raised hundreds of millions of new taxes on small businesses
11. ’07 attended Bilderberger Conference in Turkey (Violation of Logan Act and an end around the U.S. Congress and U.S. sovereignty)
12. ’07 Endorsed Guiliani for President (pro-abortion, pro homosexual, multi-married adulterer)
13. ’08 Urges congress to pass Bailouts (redistribution of wealth)
wealth, unconstitutional)
15. ’11 Despite his rhetoric (see his book “Fed Up”) and having all the votes in both houses, refused to bring TSA Bill to Special Session.
16. '11 One week into his campaign, Perry disavows his published views on the Constitution, Social Security and Medicare.

Perry has been taking credit for the Texas economy. Please note . . .

1. Oil is Texas’s largest industry. He had nothing to do with the oil boom over the past three years. For a time in 2008, oil was selling for $148 a barrel. Oil was $25 a barrel when he took over from Bush.
2.
Texans do not pay personal income tax or capital gains tax. The Texas Constitution has prohibited such since 1993 before Perry became Governor.
3.
Texas is a “Right to Work” state. That is, according to the Texas Labor Code a person cannot be denied employment if he doesn’t have union membership. This makes it attractive for businesses to relocate there. It was passed in 1993 as well.
4.
Texas has one of the lowest wage rates in the nation. Another reason it is attractive for businesses to relocate there. Perry didn’t have anything personal to do with the geographical location of Texas.
5.
Before Perry was Governor, Texas was a “pay-as-you-go” state for roads. That changed under Perry and Texas started incurring 21B of debt.
6.
As a result of Perry’s “2006 Tax Swap”, Texas has the largest budget deficit in state history, 18B.
7.
The Federal Government helps support Texas (NASA + 7 Army/Navy Bases) Federal spending in Texas has doubled since Perry became Governor 200B a year.
8.
Texas did not experience the recession like other states because of a smaller exposure to sub-prime loans due to stricter lending regulations.

PERRY Wants YOU to PAY for ILLEGAL ALIEN TUITION

Number of illegal immigrants getting in-state tuition for Texas colleges rises

Gov. Rick Perry supports the law aiding illegal immigrant students. In a recent debate, he said the students are on the path to citizenship. However, they actually won't be on that path unless the Dream Act passes.

PERRY'S BEST LITTLE TAX HIKE IN TEXAS

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/8714-rick-perry-and-the-largest-tax-hike-in-texas

Rick Perry and the Largest Tax Hike In Texas

{{ Perry signed a bill that nearly tripled the amount Texas collects from businesses. }}

{{ “what really irks conservatives is a business would have to pay taxes whether it made a profit or not. In that way, it is worse than a corporate income tax. }}

{{ This was the largest tax increase in Texas history, which requires business to pay up to 10% of its gross income to the state while large corporations were given loopholes.” }}

{{ “The governor’s own policy advisor has informed members of the house that the average small service sector business will pay more in taxes and in most cases double, triple, or even quadruple what they are currently paying under the current franchise tax system.” }}

{{ the tax is unconstitutional because the Texas Constitution requires a statewide vote in order to pass an income tax on individuals — including income they receive from partnerships — and that Perry’s Tax was enacted without a vote of the people }}

"MIRACLE" or MIRAGE?

http://www.politicususa.com/en/obama-perry-texas-miracle

Gibbs: I think when it comes to somebody like Governor Rick Perry they’re going to wonder why — why a place like Texas has one of the worst education systems. They’re going to wonder why a guy who doesn’t like the government, the largest employer in Texas is Ft. Hood and the army base. $25 billion from Economic Recovery Act went to Texas and helped Rick Perry balance his budget. They’re going to wonder why, quite frankly, they’re 47th in wages just like they’re going to wonder why Mitt Romney, when he was governor of Massachusetts, was 47th in job creation.

Gibbs shredded the myth of Rick Perry’s Texas Miracle in two sentences. Rick Perry’s miracle would have never been possible without federal money. Perry is going to have a hard time in an election justifying his miracle when the largest employer in the state is the federal government, and he used federal money to balance the state’s budget.
